Foreigner is a noun and refers to a person who comes from a foreign country; someone who does not owe allegiance to your country: ‘I can tell by your accent that you are a foreigner in these parts.’ The adjective is foreign: ‘I enjoy visiting foreign countries.’ ‘His wife teaches English as a foreign language.’
